DYSTOPIA BEACH - OUT NOW!

Feeling notably “Gatvol” (fed up), with living in Saigon, one day I decided to drive my bike into the distance, I found a beach roughly 70kms away which seemed abandoned, broken, dishevelled, forgotten, a storm was brewing as the grey sea rose, dilapidated structures which seemed to once be restaurants or cafes lay fallow and the only thing I could think of was: “I have found it, I have found, Dystopia Beach”. As I see the plastic strewn all over my current place of residence a wonderfully beautiful yet run down fishing village, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with a bitter sweet sadness. Maybe this is the end of times, maybe extinction in imminent. However we can possibly find hope in the debris. This is a recording about many things but mostly it is a recording about love.

Please make a contribution to the making of this record via bandcamp, put 0 for free download or you make any payment you think is fair a few dollars can go a long way. Musicians whether you might know it or not, also need things like food and shelter and it takes a lot of time to make these records, so if you want to see independent artists still out there please help, we can't live off sunshine and high fives I'm afraid. Unless you hate art and would rather everyone take up their positions in the ranks of modern slavery.
